On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, PCAU joined different stakeholders in Jinja to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons.
We believe every older person deserves to age with dignity, respect, and compassionate care. Palliative care plays a vital role in ensuring comfort, easing pain, and supporting well-being in later years.
Visitors at our stall in Jinja learned more about how palliative care supports older persons and how, together, we can create a caring community for them.
This participation reflects PCAU’s continued advocacy for integrating palliative care into services for older persons and ensuring they receive the dignity and support they deserve.
