Cynthia Kabagambe

Research and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Biography

Cynthia Kabagambe is the Research and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer at PCAU, where she spearheads the development, management, and implementation of the organization’s Monitoring and Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) framework. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Uganda Management Institute, Cynthia brings a unique blend of technical expertise and programmatic insights to her role.

With a career spanning over seven years at PCAU, Cynthia is passionate about the organization’s mission to transform lives through palliative care programs in Uganda. She managed the mHealth Surveillance Project, that aimed at collecting and managing data on palliative care services, ensuring their availability to all in need across the country using mobile phones. Cynthia also leads initiatives supporting Uganda’s effort to strengthen palliative care data collection in the national Health Management Information System (HMIS).

In addition to her current role, Cynthia is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Systems at Uganda Martyrs University, further enhancing her skills in leveraging technology for social impact. She is committed to utilizing her expertise to drive meaningful change and improve healthcare outcomes in Uganda.
