The Palliative Care Association of Uganda (PCAU), the national umbrella for palliative care providers in Uganda, seeks an energetic, knowledgeable, and team-oriented Capacity Building Manager. The role requires a hardworking, high-integrity professional who can work independently with minimal supervision, adapt quickly, and actively contribute to the organization’s growth and to the development of palliative care in Uganda.
Required experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading health education and training programs, mobilizing resources, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. They must possess strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate must hold a master’s degree in public health, health systems management, health professional education, palliative care, or a related field, plus a bachelor’s in medicine, nursing, public health, or another health-related field. They should have at least three years of work experience. Essential skills required include proficiency with Microsoft Office and training software, with strong report writing, organization, and leadership.
