The Palliative Care Association of Uganda in preparation for the 5th Uganda Conference on Cancer and Palliative Care invites Palliative care Teams & media houses from across Uganda to share their inspiring stories of hope, comfort and fulfillment on their experience with Palliative care givers.
Why Share Your Story?
We invite you to share your palliative care story and make a significant impact. Your experiences can inspire others in the field, educate the public about the vital role of palliative care, and advocate for much-needed resources and support. By sharing, you’ll also connect with a dedicated community of professionals and gain an opportunity to process and reflect on your own journey.
The most compelling stories will be featured at the 5th Uganda Conference on Cancer and Palliative Care during a special storytelling session.

Join Us at the 5th Uganda Conference on Cancer and Palliative Care

We’re excited to co-host the 5th Uganda Conference on Cancer and Palliative Care alongside the Uganda Cancer Institute and the Ministry of Health, from September 10–12, 2025,at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
This year’s theme, “Embracing Uniqueness and Empowering Communities,” centres on person- and family-centered care, recognizing the diverse cultural, geographic,and socio-economic contexts of patients and providers alike. The conference will explore community-led solutions, innovations in care delivery, and the critical roles of caregivers, healthcare workers, and policymakers.

Abstract submissions are now closed, and the Scientific Committee contacted authors by July 7, 2025. A preparatory webinar for presenters is coming soon, details will be shared via email and our social platforms.
