Anita Balikobaku
Program Officer - Road To Hope
Anita Balikobaku is the Program Officer – Road To Hope at PCAU. Anita joined PCAU with vast knowledge and experience in program coordination, collaborative learning, stakeholder management, advocacy, child protection, youth and community empowerment, strategic thinking, resource mobilizing, and often mentoring and counseling.
She is an empowered and transformational leader. She has worked in areas of child protection, institutional development, strengthening organizational strategy, advocacy, theory of change, monitoring, and evaluation.
With over 9 years of working experience in community engagement and economic transformation, Anita has always been a voice to the voiceless through championing for equitable human rights. Her dream has always been to holistically uplift with creativity and dedication the lives of vulnerable people.
She has previously held different supervisory and leadership positions in Non-governmental organizations like Every Life Uganda, African Partnership on Climate Change Coalition, and Invisible Children Uganda. These organizations have equipped her with skills in project planning, project implementation plans, team leadership, grants writing, conflict resolution, timely result reporting, and effective communication that she brings on board at PCAU. She is also a member of the Young African Leadership Initiative Association where she shares ideas on leadership skills, networking, and advocacy.
