Fiona Siima Karakire

Membership & Partnership officer

Fiona Siima Karakire is the Membership & Partnership officer at the Palliative Care Association of Uganda. She holds a degree of Commerce from Makerere University with Marketing as an elective and a Diploma in Business studies from Nakawa Business School.

Her role at PCAU is to coordinate and grow the membership base for the organization which includes, maintaining the current membership as well as bringing new members on board. She also part of the team that engages in resource mobilization for the organization.

Fiona has been working with PCAU for 5months from June 2021. During this period, she has synchronized activities between the association and the different branches across the country.

She loves working for PCAU because her nature of work is diverse, she interfaces with people of all caliber and it’s a great training ground for professionalism. She is passionate about her work and believes it’s one of the ways of giving back to society. She believes PCAU is a great platform for personal growth.
