These tools address the limitations of previous indicators, providing invaluable insights for policy formulation, decision-making, and research in palliative care.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – 2024
The Month of March each year is celebrated as women’s month in many parts of the world featuring International Women’s Day on March 8th. This year, while declaring the Women’s History Month the President of USA said that during this March, “we celebrate the courageous women who have helped our Nation build a fairer, more just society.”
Kiwanuka’s 30 years as a Palliative Care Provider
Rose Kiwanuka, is a palliative care nurse in Uganda with experience spanning 30 years. She sits on the board of Hospice Africa.
Her dream is to see more patients who are battling chronic illnesses die with dignity. She has visited different countries to gain knowledge on palliative care.

Commemorating the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD) 2023 in Uganda
